A bodyguard has been shot dead during the making of a pop video starring rapper Busta Rhymes.
Busta Rhymes' real name is Trevor Smith
Israel Ramirez, 29, was killed outside a warehouse in New York where the video was being made.
Missy Elliot and Mary J Blige were among the 500 people who had gathered for filming.
Police say violence erupted outside the industrial building in the early hours of Sunday morning. No-one else was injured in the incident.
Mr Ramirez, a father of three, was responsible for guarding expensive jewellery for the rapper. He died following a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Police have removed a car that was hit by bullets from the vicinity for forensic analysis.
There had reportedly been an argument inside the building earlier, and complaints about noise.
The rapper 50 Cent and some of the members of his G-Unit group were taking part in the video but it is not known if he was present during the shooting.
The artists and crew were in the area to record the video for Rhymes' song Touch It.
Sgt Kevin Farrell said police had so far been unable to determine what led to the violence.
