Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino will help announce the nominees for the 2006 Academy Awards on Tuesday, organisers have said.

The 38-year-old, who won her Oscar in 1995 for Woody Allen's film Mighty Aphrodite, will unveil the nominees with Academy president Sid Ganis.
Brokeback Mountain and Walk the Line are two films expected to do well in the Oscar race.
The Academy Award ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on 5 March.
Sorvino and Mr Ganis will read out the names of the nominees in ten of the 24 Oscar categories at 5:30 am (1330 GMT) which will be broadcast across the globe.
Sorvino's other film credits include the 1997 hit movie Romy and Michele's High School Reunion with Lisa Kudrow, and Summer of Sam (1999).
Stars lined up to present Oscars include Tom Hanks, Hilary Swank, Morgan Freeman and ex-Friends actress Jennifer Aniston.
