Doherty's track for hero Hancock

Pete Doherty was a member of the Libertines until they split in 2004
Singer Pete Doherty has recorded an exclusive track for a documentary about his comic idol Tony Hancock.

The song Don't Fall Backwards refers to a book Hancock read in a Hancock's Half Hour called The Missing Page.

The Babyshambles star said: "I don't know whether it's possible to be nostalgic for a time that didn't exist, but I think I am."

He is also interviewed in the 90-minute BBC Two documentary The Unknown Hancock which will be screened on Boxing Day,
