Anti-fur protesters greeted actress and singer Jennifer Lopez at the premiere of her latest film, Monster-in-Law.
Lopez attended the premiere with her husband Marc Anthony
Campaigners on behalf of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) were protesting against the use of fur in Lopez's Sweetface fashion range.
The Peta campaigners claim they have asked the actress several times to eliminate fur from her clothing line, but have been ignored.
Lopez attended the screening in Los Angeles with husband Marc Anthony.
Jane Fonda stars opposite Lopez in her first film in 15 years
"She could make a difference in a positive manner, and what she does is cause the death of a lot of animals," claimed protester Linda Kraemer during Friday's demonstration in front of the National Theater in Westwood, California.
Confronted by placards bearing the slogan 'Monster-in-Fur', Lopez was asked what she thought about the protesters. "I don't," she replied.
Monster-in-Law sees the 35-year-old actress starring opposite Jane Fonda, in what marks Fonda's first film for 15 years.
Fonda plays a ruthless mother determined to thwart romance between her son and Lopez's character.
It follows a series of film flops for Lopez including Jersey Girl and Gigli with former fiance Ben Affleck.
