The rap star was already serving a prison term

US rapper DMX has been sentenced to seven days in prison after admitting driving with a suspended licence.
The rapper - real name Earl Simmons - was charged in April after driving into a car that in turn hit a police car.
He is currently serving a 70-day term for driving with a suspended licence in a separate incident.
New York Criminal Court judge George Villegas said: "I'm not going to put him on probation because he's a violation waiting to happen."
The judge also fined the 34-year-old rap star $500 (£289) for the latest offence, which took place in the Bronx in April 2005.
Airport crash
In April 2004, Simmons was arrested after crashing his sports utility vehicle into a gate at New York's Kennedy Airport.
The rapper received a conditional discharge for that offence and was ordered to stay out of trouble for a year.
But the terms of the sentence were breached by the two further motoring offences.
In October, Simmons appeared in court after a December 2004 speeding incident and received the 70-day term.
His latest penalty relating to the April 2005 crash will run concurrently with the existing sentence, meaning the rapper will not have to serve any additional jail time.
