Singer Tony Christie has claimed a sixth week at the top of the singles chart, scuppering Elvis Presley's chances of another number one.
Christie's song was originally released in 1971
Christie's song (Is This The Way To) Amarillo also saw off competition from Bodyrockers and Nine Inch Nails, both new entries inside the Top 10.
In the album chart, US star Akon climbed one place, displacing last week's chart topper from Basement Jaxx.
It is the second week the charts have included legal download music sales.

His greatest hits collection remained at number three on the album chart.
US rock band Nine Inch Nails have scored their biggest UK hit to date with The Hand That Feeds, which landed at number seven.
Other new chart entries included Caught Up by Ja Rule (20) and Make You Happy by The Levellers (38), whose debut hit was in 1992.
Feel Good Inc by Damon Albarn's band Gorillaz continued to profit from the inclusion of download sales into the chart, climbing one place to 21.
They released just 300 copies of the new song into the shops, allowing their strong download performance to lift them into the combined chart.
In the album chart, Razorlight clambered 41 places to number five in the wake of their latest single Somewhere Else, which entered at number two last week.
Nevermind by Nirvana, which has been on the chart for 460 weeks and was originally released in 1991, climbed from 100 to 28.
It is more than 11 years since the band's frontman, Kurt Cobain, shot himself.
The album features hit songs such as Smells Like Teen Spirit and Come As You Are.
