The fatal shooting at a US cinema where hip-hop star 50 Cent's new film was being screened stemmed from an old prison argument, police said.
50 Cent's real name is Curtis Jackson
Shelton Flowers, 30, had just watched Get Rich or Die Tryin' when he was shot three times after getting into an argument at a cinema near Pittsburgh.
Larue Graves, also 30, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the 9 November shooting.
Police said both men had spent time in prison together.
It was not revealed why Mr Flowers had been in prison, but police said Mr Graves was given parole in 2004 after serving time for voluntary manslaughter.
The Loews Cineplex at West Homestead, near Pittsburgh, withdrew the film after the shooting.
The film, based on 50 Cent's life, has caused controversy in the US.
In California, billboards promoting the movie were removed from areas near Los Angeles schools after community leaders claimed it glorified violence.
The film, which also stars one-time So Solid Crew star Ashley Walters, will be released in the UK on 20 January.
