Jackson in ladies toilet mix-up
Michael Jackson
Jackson has been based in Bahrain since his trial ended in June
Singer Michael Jackson has sparked controversy in the United Arab Emirates by entering a ladies toilet in a shopping centre.

Newspapers in Dubai claimed that the pop star was spotted applying make-up during the visit.

Jackson's publicist played down the incident, saying the singer "quickly exited" after realising he had misread the Arabic sign on the door.

Jackson is on his second UAE trip since he was cleared of child abuse charges.
