The ENO performed at the Glastonbury Festival last year

English National Opera (ENO) has extended its sponsorship with satellite TV broadcasters Sky and Artsworld for a further three years.
An initial deal was struck two years ago shortly after a £4.2m government grant saved the ENO from extinction.
The funding to 2009 is now worth almost £5m in total to the company.
It includes increased support for ENO Baylis, the education wing of the ENO, and backing for a ticket scheme to encourage families to visit the opera.
