Comedian Vic Reeves and his model wife Nancy Sorrell have announced they are expecting twins.

The couple were inundated with congratulatory e-mails after they revealed the news live on the comic's Virgin Radio show.

Shooting Stars host and Big Night Out comedian Reeves, 46, said: "We are pleased to announced we are having babies. Two of them, to be exact."

Reeves, who has two children by his first wife, married Ms Sorrell in 2003.
