Isley star tax fraud trial opens
Ronald Isley, lead singer of soul group the Isley Brothers, has gone on trial on tax evasion charges.

Mr Isley, whose band's hits included This Old Heart of Mine and Summer Breeze, faces a prison sentence of up to 26 years if he is convicted.

He denied five counts of tax evasion and one of failing to file a tax return when the trial opened on Wednesday.

Prosecutors claim he demanded cash for live shows and used royalty cheques for other band members for himself.
