Double Brit award winners Franz Ferdinand are to co-headline this summer's V Festival.
Franz Ferdinand were double winners at the Brits
The Scottish quartet join fellow award winners Scissor Sisters at the top of the music event's bill.
Franz Ferdinand's frontman Alex Kapranos said the band would give fans "a performance to remember".
The V Festival, now in its 10th year, will be held at two venues - Hylands Park in Essex and Weston Park in Staffordshire on 20 and 21 August.
"We're really excited to be playing the main stage and co-headlining with Scissor Sisters," said Kapranos.
Franz Ferdinand won best group and best rock act at the Brits.
They were also nominated for three awards at the recent Grammy awards in the US, but came home empty-handed.
New York band Scissor Sisters, whose eponymous debut album was the biggest UK seller in 2004, have promised to perform new material at the event.
Their appearance at last year's V Festival was voted the best live performance of 2004 by listeners of Virgin Radio.
