CSI: Miami star Caruso to divorce
David and Margaret Caruso
David and Margaret Caruso have been married eight years
CSI: Miami star David Caruso is separating from his wife after eight years of marriage.

Margaret Caruso filed for divorce at Los Angeles Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences.

Caruso, 49, found widespread fame on the police series NYPD Blue and now stars as Lieutenant Horatio Caine in CSI: Miami.

He has a daughter from his previous marriage to actress Rachel Ticotin, but he and Margaret had no children.

Caruso won a Golden Globe best actor award in 1994 for his role as Detective John Kelly in NYPD Blue. His other screen credits include 2000's Proof of Life, starring Meg Ryan, and the expensive flop Hudson Hawk in 1991.
