Ghadie, 22, who plays Maria Sutherland in the ITV soap opera, tied the knot with Smith, 29, at St Phillips Church in Alderley Edge.
Guests at the wedding included many of Ghadie's Coronation Street co-stars as well as former Street actors.
At other ceremonies in the UK, GMTV host Kate Garraway also married and singer Peter Andre married Katie Price.
Each had sold the exclusive rights to their Saturday ceremonies to celebrity magazines.
Ghadie met property developer Smith at a charity event almost three years ago.

The couple became engaged on New Year's day this year after Smith proposed at the Vatican in Rome.
Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah Platt, was among the younger members of the Coronation Street cast to attend the wedding ceremony. She was joined by Kate Ford, the Street's Tracy Barlow.
The older members of the cast included Sue Nicholls, who plays Maria's hairdresser boss Audrey Roberts, and Liz Dawn, the soap's Vera Duckworth.
Former Coronation Street actress Jennifer James, who played barmaid Geena Gregory arrived at the ceremony with Sally Lindsay, who plays long-suffering Rovers Return landlady Shelley Unwin.
GMTV's Kate Garraway married Derek Draper, former Labour spin doctor turned psychotherapist, in central London. The ceremony was attended by her GMTV colleagues.
Pop singer Peter Andre and Katie Price - also known as glamour model Jordan - married at Highclere Castle in Berkshire.
GMTV co-host Fiona Phillips and her husband Martin Frizell were among Kate Garraway's guests

Kerry Katona and Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding were among the bridesmaids at the ceremony.
Vanessa Feltz and Jennifer Ellison were among the 350 guests. The couple have sold the rights to their wedding to OK magazine and ITV.
The celebrity weddings came on the same day as the marriage of Tom Parker Bowles, son of the Duchess of Cornwall, to fashion journalist Sara Buys.
The ceremony was attended by the duchess' husband the Prince of Wales and his sons Princes William and Harry.
