Coronation Street has been voted ITV's greatest show of all time in a poll to mark the channel's 50th anniversary.

The poll saw Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway come second, ahead of older classic shows The Sweeney and Inspector Morse.
Ant and Dec had three shows in the top 10 including I'm A Celebrity... at number six and Pop Idol at number nine.
The poll of more than 500,000 viewers was taken for ITV's 50 Greatest Shows, with Cat Deeley and Phillip Schofield.
Coronation Street's Bill Roache, who plays Ken Barlow, paid tribute to the show.

"It's amazing really, it's been going for 44 years and it is still top," he said. "Let's hope we stay at number one for many years to come."
Michael Parkinson said: "I think life without Coronation Street would be unthinkable. It's part of all our lives."
In third place came detective drama A Touch Of Frost, starring David Jason. It was followed by Inspector Morse, starring the late John Thaw. The soap opera Emmerdale was voted fifth.
Police drama series The Bill was at number seven, ahead of the 1970s classic The Muppet Show. Satirical show Spitting Image just made it into the top 10.
Other dramas in the top 50 included Prime Suspect, Cracker, Brideshead Revisited, the Jewel In The Crown and Cold Feet.
Other discontinued shows included drama series The Avengers and The Prisoner, current affairs programmes World In Action, The World At War and Death On The Rock.
The classic comedies included The Benny Hill Show and Rising Damp. Entertainment shows Ready, Steady, Go and Opportunity Knocks were also in the top 100.
