Holland's TV show Later...with Jools Holland began in 1992
TV presenter and musician Jools Holland is to marry his long-term partner.

The 47-year-old will tie the knot with sculptor Christabel McEwen in a small private ceremony.

The couple, who have been together for a number of years, have a 14-year-old daughter, Mabel. They both also have children from previous relationships.

Holland's 20-year TV career began alongside Paula Yates in the 1980s, as co-presenter of Channel 4's pioneering music show The Tube.

A talented pianist, Holland now leads his own band, Jools Holland's Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, which play to sell-out audiences across the UK.

In addition to performing with some of the world's most respected artists, including Eric Clapton, Sting and Paul Weller, he continues to host the late-night BBC Two series, Later.

He was made an OBE, for services to music, in November 2003.
