Singer Courtney Love has been admitted to a private hospital after spending the weekend in a public hospital in New York, her lawyer has said.
Ms Love, 40, was declared a fugitive from justice for missing a court hearing in Los Angeles before being admitted to hospital on Friday.
She is facing a felony charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.
Her Los Angeles-based lawyer Michael Rosenstein said he had no information on her condition or the new hospital.
Last week Ms Love was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, Manhattan, for a gynaecological condition, Mr Rosenstein said.
'Abortion'
New York newspapers had shown photos of her being carried on a stretcher in handcuffs from her apartment by paramedics.
Mr Rosenstein stressed that Ms Love's condition was not drug-related, despite her troubled history. She is reported to have told police she had had an abortion on Thursday.
The former Hole singer is facing an assault charge relating to an incident in April when she broke into the Los Angeles home of her ex-boyfriend and allegedly assaulted a 32-year-old woman.
A warrant for Ms Love's arrest was issued by a Los Angeles court after she failed to appear last week.
On Tuesday another lawyer for Ms Love, Robert Ring, said during an unrelated civil court case that she was in an east coast "institution" and a legal guardian had been appointed for her.
