Return of the King took best film and best action sequence awards

The Return of the King and Kill Bill: Volume 2 dominated the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The final part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy won the best film and best action sequence awards.
Uma Thurman took the best female prize for her role in Kill Bill: Volume 1, with co-star Lucy Liu as best villain.
Thurman's battle with Chiaki Kuriyama was named best fight, while Johnny Depp won the best male award for his Pirates of the Caribbean performance.
Thurman thanked MTV voters for choosing her "kick butt, take-no-prisoners" character The Bride, and Kill Bill director Quentin Tarantino.

"Quentin spent many years writing this for me and wants
to be honoured as if he were dead tonight," she told the audience.
"We don't have time, so I'll have to honour you as if you were living. Thank you, Quentin."
Jack Black won the comedy award for his lead role in School of Rock, while Freaky Friday's Lindsay Lohan and X2: X-Men United's Shawn Ashmore were named best breakthrough female and male actors respectively.
The ceremony in California's Culver City presented winners with buckets of golden popcorn and featured a number of irreverent awards.
The best kiss trophy went to Amy Smart and Carmen Electra for their scene with Owen Wilson in Starsky and Hutch.

Seann William Scott took the award for best dance sequence in American Wedding, thanking Saturday Night Fever star John Travolta.
Hosted by teen actress Lindsay Lohan, prizes were presented by Tom Cruise and rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg among others.
Musical performances came from rapper Eminem - who dropped his trousers while performing with his group D12 - the Beastie Boys and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
MTV will broadcast the ceremony in the US on Thursday.
