Joseph Jackson (r) wants to be kept updated on events

Singer Michael Jackson's father has hired a lawyer to be what he called an "extra pair of eyes" for him during his trial on child abuse charges.
Joseph Jackson has called in Debra Opri, a US TV legal analyst who has represented singer James Brown.
Ms Opri said she would not be a part of the Jackson defence team but would be "representing family interests".
Mr Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 child molestation charges, including a charge of conspiracy to abduct a child.
Ms Opri said Joseph Jackson wanted her to attend court hearings with him "to tell him what's going on".
Mr Jackson has denied all the charges against him

"Joseph loves his son and wants to be kept updated on everything," she said.
"I am a person who believes in justice and I believe Michael Jackson is innocent. I don't believe that he has the capacity to formulate a criminal intent."
On Monday it was announced that a move by the singer to reduce his $3m (£1.7m) bail payment was being opposed by prosecutors over fears he may be planning to flee the country.
District Attorney Tom Sneddon's office filed a motion saying the star's wealth meant a high bail payment was needed.
The motion is to be argued at Mr Jackson's next hearing on 28 May.
