Driving an Israeli bus is a dangerous occupation
|
A documentary following Israeli bus drivers and passengers living with the constant threat of suicide bombings is part of BBC Four's autumn schedule.
The first TV history of atheism, Jonathan Miller's Brief History of Disbelief, will also air on the BBC's cultural and current affairs channel.
BBC Four controller, Janice Hadlow, said the schedule was "challenging, enquiring and entertaining".
It launched in 2002 and has an average weekly reach so far this year of 2.5m.
Dame Judi Dench, Gillian Anderson, Rupert Graves, Prunella Scales and Adrian Lester are just some of the actors who will feature in a show about commercial theatre called Theatre Biz.
