Starsky and Hutch stars David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser are reuniting - to promote caravans at a London exhibition.

The 1970s cop show stars, normally associated with high speed car-chases, will be at the Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show at Earls Court on Tuesday.

The duo will promote a type of large caravan, popular in the US, that devotees want to bring to the UK.

The stars have been used to "entice a whole new breed of caravanners", according to the Caravan Club.

The two stars will promote the 22-foot long Airstream trailer. The company are trying to introduce a "road-legal" version for the UK.

"This version has been built to US, and not UK, specification, but we hope these kind of caravans will soon be gracing British roads," said a Caravan Club spokeswoman.
