US TV network ABC has scrapped a reality show featuring comedy performer Roseanne Barr.
The Real Roseanne Show, which featured Barr putting together a cooking show, made its debut two weeks ago to poor audiences.
The show which was the subject of the series, Domestic Goddess, has also been pulled by cable network ABC Family.
Production was initially delayed because Barr needed to undergo a hysterectomy.
Rock star charged over child
The bass player in US rock band Phish has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after he was found with a nine-year-old girl following a concert he was attending.
Mike Gordon was arrested on 11 August after the girl's mother lost her daughter in the backstage area at a venue in Long Island, New York.
Police said Gordon and the girl were found together in a boathouse that was part of the backstage area.
A Phish spokeswoman issued what she called a joint statement from Gordon and the girl's family, calling the incident "an unfortunate misunderstanding, and we look forward to putting this matter behind us".
Star Wars details revealed
Star Wars producer Rick McCallum has revealed a few small details of the sixth and final film in the long-running sci-fi series, currently known as Episode III.
Talking to Star Wars fans on the film's website, he said the movie would reveal how Darth Vader came by his name and that it would end on a sad note.
The film, which is written and directed by George Lucas, is halfway through production and is expected to be released world-wide in 2005.

Black star starts in Sex and City
Sex and the City's first major black character - Miranda's new boyfriend, Dr Robert Leeds - joined the US show on Sunday.
Leeds, a physician for the New York Knicks team, is played by actor
Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda, said all four of the show's lead players had lobbied for the inclusion of more characters from ethnic minority backgrounds.
Like its fellow New York-set series Friends, Sex and the City has been criticised for portraying the city as a white-dominated environment.
