Feverish speculation is surrounding the relationship of Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, days after they called off their wedding.
Affleck and Lopez called off their wedding on Thursday
Several media outlets are reporting that the pair have split up, quoting unnamed sources and friends.
On Thursday, the couple postponed their wedding - planned for Saturday - because of "excessive media attention".
But the Reuters news agency said they had now split up, at least temporarily, according to anonymous sources.
The sources said Affleck called close associates last week to tell them he had split from the singer and actress.
On Sunday, US magazine People broke the story, saying Affleck initiated the break-up.
And on Monday, The Sun newspaper quoted a friend as saying "it's all over" because "Ben got cold feet".
Spokespeople for the stars were not available but People reported that their representatives had no knowledge of the break-up.
Lopez, 33, and Affleck, 31, got engaged in November, almost a year after meeting on the set of their film, Gigli.
Lopez, a chart-topping singer and star of films like Out of Sight and The Cell, has been married twice before - to actor Ojani Noa and dancer Cris Judd.
She also had a high-profile relationship with rapper P Diddy.
Affleck, who won an Oscar for Good Will Hunting in 1997, has also starred in blockbuster films like Pearl Harbor, Armageddon and Daredevil. He has never been married.
The pair had been expected to get married in California on Saturday - but called the ceremony off just two days before.
"Due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding, we have decided to postpone the date," they said in a joint statement.
"When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate 'decoy brides' at three different locations, we realised that something was awry."
