Country music stars mourned the Grammy-winning wife of Johnny Cash at a service in Tennessee.
Singer and actress June Carter Cash died last Thursday at the age of 73 following complications from heart surgery.
Johnny Cash, 71, who has a disease of the nervous system, attended the funeral in a wheelchair with his daughter Rosanne at his side but did not speak during the service.
"My daddy has lost his dearest companion ... and his soul mate," said Rosanne Cash.
"If being a wife were a corporation, June would have been a
CEO. It was her most treasured role."
