Anne gets Big Brother boot
Sue Perkins
Sue faces eviction again on Wednesday
Former TV host Anne Diamond has become the second housemate to leave Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother.

Comedian Sue Perkins escaped eviction on Tuesday night, but was again nominated almost immediately afterwards.

Former Take That star Mark Owen was also nominated for the eviction battle on Wednesday from the 10-day charity version of the hit reality show.

Six celebrities entered the house six days ago and, as well as having no contact with the outside world, have cameras following their every move.

DJ Goldie was the first celebrity to be evicted by public vote on Sunday. The winner will be revealed on Friday at the show's finale.

Viewers are voting for the person they want to see leave the house, by telephone, text message or interactive television.

Diamond, 48, smiled and said "I'm on my way," before hugging her housemates and saying goodbye.

She then enjoyed an emotional reunion with her children before admitting: "It was lovely to be part of that team, but it wasn't necessary for me.

"It's a game and it's silly to agonise about it."

House 'love-in'

In the post eviction interview with Davina McCall, Anne said she felt the show's Big Brother character "was beginning to get very manipulative".

"I really feel that Big Brother is thinking hard today about how to set us against each other because we have had a bit of a love-in."

The other celebrities left in the house besides Perkins and Owen are former Family Fortunes host Les Dennis and glamour model Melinda Messenger.
