Clash of Brother favourites
Spencer Smith and Alex Sibley
Spencer and Alex: Who will get the public vote?
The two favourites to win Channel 4's reality TV show Big Brother, Spencer Smith and Alex Sibley, have been nominated for eviction.

Spencer, 22, a shop assistant, remains favourite to win the Channel 4 reality TV show despite his nomination.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes have him at 10 to11 and Alex, a 23-year-old model, at 4 to1 to win.

Alex is already 1 to 3 favourite to be evicted from the house on Friday. He was nominated in the first eviction but the public voted to get rid of Brummie girl Alison.

Spencer has attracted plenty of comments from housemates by not washing for days, while Alex's comments about poor house hygiene has made him unpopular.

Both housemates received four nominations each.

Banned

Adele Roberts, Alex Sibley, Jonny Regan and Sophie Pritchard voted for Spencer to be evicted while Alex had nominations from Kate Lawler, PJ Ellis, Spencer Smith and Jonny.

Jade Goody was banned from making nominations as a punishment from Big Brother for discussing for whom she had voted with other housemates.

Adele said she had nominated PJ because she found him "lazy and selfish" and feels he's "keeping a mask on".

Jonny nominated Spencer, despite both men sharing the ordeal of living in the "poor half" of the house, because "he accused me of cheating".

'Quite false'

The Big Brother house has been divided into a poor half and rich half with some of the housemates living in relative luxury while the others having to make do with basic rations and cold showers.

PJ nominated relatively new housemate Sophie because he found her "quite false" and a "Miss Goodie-two-shoes".

Alex has now been nominated 13 times, more than any other housemate, and has previously survived an eviction scare.

The two nominated housemates now face the public vote and will find out on Friday who is to leave the house.
