She told a court she had already handed over the tape featuring Haggard singing classics from the likes of Nat King Cole but was told it was not the missing recording.

The order to hand over the recording came after Haggard sued for theft and illegal conversion of his tape, saying it was worth $1m.

Creature Comforts, a short film which saw zoo zanimals discuss what they most missed about the wild, won the Wallace and Gromit creator his first Oscar.

For the new series, programme-makers will interview people at random then match up their voices to the characters.

Park said the show would draw on "many parallels between humans and animals".
