Enrique Iglesias has had success around the world
Latin singing star Enrique Iglesias is celebrating a chart double - he is number one in the UK singles and album charts.

His song Hero is number one for a third week and his CD Escape has taken over the top spot from the Chemical Brothers in the album charts.

Iglesias, son of the globally successful Julio Iglesias, was recently named best Latin artist at the recent American Music Awards.

UK top five singles
1. Enrique Iglesias: Hero
2. No Doubt: Hey Baby
3. Pink: Get the Party Started
4. Puretone: Addicted to Bass
5. Alien Ant Farm: Movies

He had his first United States number one with his first English-language single, Bailamos, in 1999.

Bailamos was a number four hit in the UK, while a duet with Whitney Houston, Could I Have This Kiss Forever, hit number seven the following year.

US rockers No Doubt has a high new entry in the singles chart, in at number two with Hey Baby.

Alien Ant Farm score their second top ten hit, with Movies coming in at number five and dance act Jakatta is a new entry at number eight hit with So Lonely.

There is only one new entry in the album top 10.

US R'n'B act Boyz II Men are in at 10 with Legacy - The Greatest Hits Collection.

Swedish band The Hives move up three places to number seven with Your New Favourite Band, while rapper Ja Rule is also going up the charts - he is now at number three with Pain is Love.

Welsh rockers Stereophonics are up one place to number two with their album Just Enough Education to Perform.
