BBC correspondent Louise Minchin: Another baby Spice is on the way

Victoria and England soccer international fiancé David Beckham are delighted at the prospect of parenthood, The Sun newspaper has reported.

The newspaper broke the news on Friday that 24-year-old Victoria - better known as Posh Spice - is three months pregnant.

The singer and David Beckham, 23, announced their engagement in January but said they would not wed until summer 1999.

Posh Spice is "absolutely delighted"

Posh Spice is reported to have told a friend that she kept her pregnancy quiet in case "something went wrong".

At the moment she is currently with the three other Spice Girls - Scary, Baby and Sporty - on tour in America.

The Spice Girls line up was depleted earlier this year when Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell left the band.

The band has always declared that "girl power" means they will always stick together.

All Saints singer Melanie Blatt, who is also pregnant, has continued in the rival girl group.

In the meantime, UK fans will be relieved to know Posh Spice will be going ahead with the band's concerts at Wembley next month.
