It is reported Ms Feltz wanted her fees doubled to £2.75m over two years and her daytime ITV talk show Vanessa moved from its Ipswich base to London. She also wanted to front more prime-time shows. But Anglia bosses felt her proposals were "unrealistic" - and decided not to renew her contract. Financial demands 'unrealistic' ITV daytime programmes controller Dianne Nelmes said: "I am disappointed Vanessa will no longer be part of ITV's morning schedule, but her financial demands were completely unrealistic." Anglia's director of programmes Malcolm Allsop said his company was looking to develop other ideas for morning shows without Ms Feltz, who also presents BBC One's Value For Money programme. "It is a shame her demands became so unrealistic, but we are very excited about a number of options we are discussing with the ITV network." ![]() |
