Jimi Hendrix DVD: Your views
Jimi Hendrix
The concerts took place just months before his death
Jimi Hendrix fans have a chance to see rare footage of the guitar legend on DVD format.

Band of Gypsies - Live At Fillmore East tells the story of Hendrix's last regular group, with fellow black Americans Buddy Miles and Billy Cox.

"This is less a concert DVD than a documentary about Hendrix's last couple of years, and it has to be said that the concert footage is mostly black and white, and unimaginatively lit," says BBC News Online's Alex Webb.

But what do you think?

Does it reveal anything new about the last two years of Hendrix's life? Is it for die-hard fans only?
