Big Brother pair await public vote
Paul and Amma are up for eviction on Friday
Paul and Amma are up for eviction on Friday
Big Brother contestants Paul and Amma are waiting to discover which one will be the fifth member to be evicted from the house.

Designer Paul Clarke, 24, has escaped the public vote three weeks in a row and is the bookies' favourite to stay in again.

Lap-dancer Amma is the overwhelming favourite to get the boot on Friday's show.

The pair will find out their fate on the first of two live shows on Channel 4 on Friday evening before one packs up and says their goodbyes.

Bubble: Became fourth evictee last week

Bookmaker Paddy Power has put Amma at 1-10 to be evicted, with Paul at 11-2.

But the bookmakers have got it wrong before - last week, they made Paul 1-8 favourite before the public voted Bubble out.

Gay air steward Brian is favourite to win the 70,000 prize when the show finishes at the end of July.

Paul told fellow housemate Helen on Thursday that he thought the other housemates were selfish.

"I think everyone is great, but I think there's a lot of selfishness in this house," he said.

Gamble

"I just consider myself not a selfish person."

He has previously claimed to be "in control" of the group, and boasted that he could shred Amma, 22, to bits in an argument if he wanted to.

Bookmakers have also started taking bets on how the housemates will survive now they have only 24.50 to spend on food this week.

They gambled 50% of their food budget on the task of teaching Paddy the dog tricks - but failed.

Odds of 6-4 are being given on the housemates eating one of the chickens.

'Bored'

They are 16-1 to be forced to eat snails, 100-1 to fry the goldfish and 750-1 to resort to cannibalism.

Now in their sixth week locked in the house in east London, the housemates have formed a Boring Club, based on the film Fight Club.

The rules for the club include not talking about it and being bored.

Meanwhile, former Big Brother housemate Bubble has broken the world sweetcorn-kernel eating record.

He finally made it into the record books on Thursday, gulping down 185 kernels in three minutes.

Viewers saw Bubble bitterly disappointed when he missed out on the record of 169 by just four kernels before becoming the fourth evictee last week.

As he learned of his new status as a world record holder, Bubble, 25, leapt from his seat and said: "Yeah! That's wicked, superb. We have got to keep going now."
