Courtney hit by hotel thieves
Love: Filming in Vancouver
Singer and actress Courtney Love has
had over $100,000 (£70,000) in jewels
and property allegedly stolen from her
hotel suite in Vancouver.
Among the items said to have been taken is a wedding ring given to her by the late Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. Also missing are a $30,000 ring given to Love by actor Ed Norton "at a time when he had only $40,000 to his name", and some diamond bracelets. Toys belonging to Love's daughter, Frances Bean, were also taken, Love's manager Lisa Shaw told the Associated Press. Love is the Canadian city to film 24 hours with Kevin Bacon and Charlize Theron. Vancouver police spokesman Scott Driemel said: "We are in receipt of the allegation. We are involved in an investigation and it is continuing."
