Survivor Jayne begged to leave
Survivor's Helang tribe
There are only five members of Helang left to survive
Survivor contestant Jayne Meyler has revealed she asked to be voted off the island because she was missing her son so much.

The 47-year-old fitness instructor was the fifth person to be booted off the £1m ITV reality show by fellow castaways.

After losing a difficult jungle assault course the Helang tribe had to choose another team member to leave.

Survivor's Jayne
Jayne thinks Adrian would have been next to go
Jayne told the others she was quite happy to go as she wanted to be with her seven-year-old child Warwick.

She was seen on Monday night being voted off by the entire team.

Lazy

She believes if she had not made her intentions clear it would have been barrister's clerk Adrian Bauckham for the chop.

Fellow tribe members have expressed their views that he is "lazy" and does not make an effort around the camp.

Jayne spoke on camera of her personality clashes with Charlotte Hobrough, 24, who had an island fling with Adrian.

Charlotte Hobrough
Charlotte and Jayne were not big fans of each other
Charlotte accused Jayne of being "a pain" and claimed she was always calling her names.

But Jayne, denying the accusations, said: "I didn't plot and I didn't bitch."

Speaking about the affair between married Charlotte and Adrian, Jayne said she never saw them kissing but noticed they would go off together for hours.

"I feel Adrian would have done a lot better without Charlotte's influence. I think he was besotted by her and would have done almost anything," she said.

Speaking about her eventual eviction she added: "I was missing my son so badly - what was the point of hanging around to be picked off when I wanted to be with him."
