Red nose Norton and the Duchess
![]() Norton gave astrological advice to the Duchess
Camp Irish comic Graham Norton teamed up with the Duchess of York for Comic Relief - and the pair reckoned they could be the new Richard and Judy.
The exchange between Norton, who won a Television and Radio Industries Club award for TV personality of the year earlier in the week, and Sarah Ferguson will be part of Friday's Red Nose Day show on BBC One.
The Duchess presented Norton with a lock of his idol Dolly Parton's hair on a velvet cushion. Norton then quizzed Sarah about her own show in the US and they decided they could do a programme together like This Morning hosts Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan. As is usual on his Channel 4 chat show Norton turned to the Internet and visited a psychic website on his guest's behalf. Norton will be hosting the Comic Relief broadcast for 75 minutes shortly after midnight in the small hours of Saturday and will be joined by all six of the contestants in Celebrity Big Brother.
Just one highlight will be a spoof version of the ITV programmme Popstars, which showed the process of choosing and launching a band, starring Kate Winslet and Lenny Henry. Other things to look out for are Ali G interviewing Posh Spice and husband David Beckham, and a spoof EastEnders episode revealing who shot Phil. Billy Connolly is due to dance naked around Trafalgar Square and The Body Shop in London's Oxford Street will sport the world's largest G-string, measuring nine metres by four metres. You can make a donation by calling 08457 910 910 or logging on to the Comic Relief website.
