Big Brother Jack wins your vote
Jack Dee
Jack Dee: Not happy about it
BBC News Online readers have voted overwhelmingly for comedian Jack Dee as their choice of winner for Comic Relief's Big Brother.

He is one of six celebrities taking part in a special one-off Big Brother event for the Comic Relief charity, run jointly by the BBC and Channel 4.

More than 6,000 of you cast your vote in our poll to find out which celebrity you would most like to see victorious at the end of the charity event.

Dee took a stunning 53.4% of your votes, even though he is up for eviction on Monday and is the bookies' favourite to be voted out.

Anthea Turner
Anthea Turner: Short residence?
Actress Claire Sweeney, from Channel 4's Brookside, came second in the poll, with 20.4%. If her stay at the house echoes the wishes of BBC News Online readers, she would make it through to Friday.

Boxer Chris Eubank came third with 10.1%, despite being evicted on Saturday after a maximum five nominations from the rest of the household.

TV presenter Vanessa Feltz, who admitted to being worried about having to share a toilet for a week, got 5.84%, narrowly missing out on fourth place to Boyzone's Keith Duffy.

Duffy himself scored only two votes more than Vanessa, with 5.88%.

Your least favourite celebrity was TV presenter Anthea Turner, who scored only 4.2% of the vote.

Turner was also favourite with the bookies to be evicted first and looked genuinely upset when it was announced she was up for eviction on Saturday, but survived the public vote.

Living under the constant eye of TV cameras placed around the house, the celebrities must nominate which of their fellow housemates they want to see evicted.

There is one eviction every other day until Friday, when three celebrities are left and the public vote for the winner takes place.
