Brad Pitt 'sexiest man alive'
Hollywood star Brad Pitt has been voted the sexiest man alive for the second time.

The title was given to him by American magazine People, making the 36-year-old the first person to be honoured twice since People began the annual naming in 1985.

Pitt was previously honoured in 1995, when he was one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors. He married Friends star Jennifer Aniston in July.

His castmate in Meet Joe Black, Marcia Gay Harden, said: "Sexiness isn't about the single bachelor and good looks. There's something gorgeous about his commitment."

Previous winners include Richard Gere, Sean Connery, Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington and George Clooney.

Westlife set for record record

Record-breaking Irish boy band Westlife are on course to clock up their seventh consecutive number one single, a record equalled only by The Beatles.

Their latest release, My Love, is outselling their nearest rivals comfortably and is expected to fly in as this weekend's chart-topper.

Success this weekend will also mean they are the only act to have gone straight to the top of the chart with each of their first seven singles.

Barrymore back with Stiller

Charlie's Angels star Drew Barrymore is to join forces with Ben Stiller to star in the Miramax comedy The Duplex.

The comedy will be developed and produced jointly by Stiller's Red Hour and Barrymore's Flower Films.

Duplex is the tale of a young couple who are given the chance to move into a stunning New York apartment - all they have to is bump off the elderly tenant.

Stiller's latest film Meet the Parents is currently top of the US film charts.
