Obama's economics advisor defends bank plans at Davos


US President Barack Obama's top economic advisor has welcomed the latest news on GDP figures, but says he will not be celebrating just yet.

Larry Summers has said he is still concerned about unemployment and the slow growth in middle class incomes.

Speaking to the BBC's Economics Editor Stephanie Flanders, he also defended Mr Obama's plans to reform the banks.
