Goldman Sachs faces scrutiny in EU

Goldman Sachs faces regulatory scrutiny in Europe, after US regulators announced that they were pursuing fraud charges against the investment bank.

US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says he is hopeful of support for a finance reform bill.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has called for a "special investigation", and Germany is also considering legal steps.
