Tony Woodley: 'Strikes have been unnecessary'

Tony Woodley, joint general secretary of Unite, has said the British Airways cabin crew strikes have been "unnecessary" and that he wants to find agreement with the company.

Unite has said it will not strike over the next two weeks, giving time to try to reach an agreement. However, there are currently no plans for peace talks.
