US trade deficit in surprise fall

The US trade deficit fell unexpectedly in January, following a big drop in imports of oil and foreign cars.

American exports also fell, a potential blow to the US administration plans to boost the economy with US sales abroad.

Caroline Hepker reports on the challenges facing US exporters.
