3D TV ranges launched by Samsung, Panasonic and Sony

The world's largest television manufacturers are launching 3D ranges in what they hope will be the biggest viewing revolution since colour was introduced.

The success of 3D films like Avatar, which won three Oscars on Sunday, has boosted hopes that 3D television could take off - but after flat-screen and HD, is it too much to ask of consumers?
