Taiwan exports soar at record rate

Export orders in Taiwan soared at a record rate in January, stimulated by strong demand from China.

They show a continuing recovery in Asian exports, but there are still concerns for exporters about the weakness of consumer demand in the United States and Europe.

Cindy Sui reports from Taipei.
