Eurostar handling of delays criticised


A report into the severe disruption of Eurostar services before Christmas has criticised the company's handling of the crisis.

The independent report, commissioned by Eurostar, said contingency plans for helping stranded passengers were "insufficient".

The inquiry's chairman Christopher Garnett gave a list of recommendations including improvements to the way Eurostar assists and communicates with passengers in the future.
