Bonuses given to companies who recruit apprentices

British businesses are being offered bonuses for every trainee apprentice they recruit.

The grants are being made available to companies who would otherwise struggle to afford an apprentice.

It is hoped that the scheme will encourage more businesses to take on trainees.

However, many still question how useful an apprenticeship really is, both to the company and to the trainee themselves.
