US economy figures growing faster than expected


GDP figures have shown that in last year's fourth quarter, the US economy rose by an annual rate of 5.7%, the fastest pace in more than six years.

The figures have given cause for optimism, but the White House was quick to warn there will still be more bumps in the economic road ahead.
