Lloyds merged with HBOS in 2008
Lloyds Banking Group has announced it is to cut 585 jobs in the UK.
Lloyds said the majority of those would come from the closure of all 58 of its Black Horse personal loan centres.
The Unite union said it was "deeply disappointed" by the decision and warned the bank not to repeat their approach of 2009 of mass job cuts.
Lloyds announced thousands of job cuts last year as it tried to reduce costs following its ill-fated merger with HBOS in 2008.
"The strategy last year has had a devastating effect on staff and created job insecurity for most colleagues," Unite said.
Lloyds said it was working through the changes "carefully and sensitively".
Lloyds added that existing Black Horse customers would not see their loans affected, as the group would fulfil all its Black Horse personal finance business through the existing customer lending centre in Cardiff.
