Theresa May: Part-time workers cut unemployment figures

The number of people unemployed in the UK has fallen for the first time in 18 months, official figures showed.

Total unemployment stood at 2.46 million at the end of November, down 7,000 on the figure three months ago.

The Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Theresa May told the BBC's Carrie Gracie that the figures were down in part to part-time working.
