Chile miners' strike prompts copper price fears


A strike vote at one of the biggest copper mines in the world is causing fears over global supplies.

Thousands of miners, at Chile's state-owned copper producer Codelco, plan an indefinite strike over wages from the beginning of January.

Copper prices have risen over fears that a walk-out would bring the mine to a standstill.
