The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee is set to announce its decision on interest rates, currently set at 0.5%. It will also talk about quantitative easing.
The Fathom Consulting Shadow Monetary Policy Committee Forum met earlier this week.
It is an event where ex-MPC members and leading UK economists discuss and debate what they believe the Bank of England should be doing with interest rates and quantitative easing, and what effect these decisions will have.
The BBC caught up with former MPC member DeAnne Julius, and asked her what she expects to happen on Thursday.
